Need to pick up a unique Mothers Day gift? Youre likely to find it this weekend in Geneva, when two art shows combine to offer a reason to shop locally.

The Batavia Artists Guild is holding its Spring Fine Arts Show and Sale at the Geneva History Center, 113 S. Third Street. Show hours are 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Todays show coincides with Genevas First Friday Artwalk, in which several galleries in downtown Geneva open their doors from 6 to 9 p.m.
